Venice
The Beautiful magical city of Venice was one that I have wanted to illustrate for some time.
Finding the right images were crucial to getting the look I was after.
The detail is a combination of London and Paris, as the foreground building are larger, whilst as the focal point drops away, the buildings become smaller adding to even more detail to be transferred on to the canvas.
So far the process has taken 26 hrs. With only 1/5th of the page completed, I would guess this could be one of the more ambitious projects.
